Our diligence team assesses the suitability of matters for Augusta’s investment and manages the review of each matter before it is approved for our funding. The team is made up of experienced litigation lawyers, paralegals and finance experts who help guide lawyers and claimants through the funding process.
Chief Executive (Australia)
Mira was an investment banker with Banque Nationale de Paris completing various M&A deals. Prior to investment banking Mira was a manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Before joining PwC she was an accountant with Mann Judd. She completed a B.Com. from University of Western Australia; an M.Com. (Finance) from the University of NSW; and is a Chartered Accountant.

Senior Investment Manager
Before joining Augusta, Louise worked for one of the big six Australian law firms as Counsel for 10 years, prior to that she was Corporate Counsel for Avant Insurance for 7 years; Minter Ellison as a Senior Associate for 3 years and Abbott and Tout for 3 years. She has a broad experience extending from dispute resolution, government and administrative law and media law. She completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, admitted to the High Court.

Philip is an Investment Manager in Augusta’s diligence team and solicitor of the Courts of England and Wales.
Before joining Augusta, Philip worked at city firm Elborne Mitchell LLP where he was a member of the shipping and commercial litigation/arbitration departments, acting on a range of commercial disputes in both arbitration and the High Court.
Philip holds a LLB from the University of Sussex, where he graduated with First Class Honours.
