Our diligence team assesses the suitability of matters for Augusta’s investment and manages the review of each matter before it is approved for our funding. The team is made up of experienced litigation lawyers, paralegals and finance experts who help guide lawyers and claimants through the funding process.

Mira was an investment banker with Banque Nationale de Paris completing various M&A deals. Prior to investment banking Mira was a manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Before joining PwC she was an accountant with Mann Judd. She completed a B.Com. from University of Western Australia; an M.Com. (Finance) from the University of NSW; and is a Chartered Accountant.

Liz is an Investment Manager in Augusta’s diligence and monitoring team.
Liz has advised on commercial disputes for over a decade. Prior to joining Augusta, Liz worked for a top-tier firm, a boutique firm and as a senior associate at a large global firm.
Liz is admitted to practice in New South Wales and is on the High Court roll.
Liz holds a BA/LLB from the University of Sydney, where she graduated with First Class Honours in 2004.

Leon is an Investment Manager in Augusta’s monitoring team and admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court.
Prior to joining Augusta Leon spent approximately 10 years as a solicitor, most recently as a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at Clifford Chance. He has extensive private practice experience in the area of commercial litigation in both Australia and the US (including at Allens and Milbank), and in-house with a sporting organisation connected with the Olympic Movement in Switzerland. He is admitted to the New York Bar.
Leon has a Bachelor of Laws (2A Hons)/Bachelor of Arts (Indon) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Advanced Studies in Sports Administration and Technology from the University of Lausanne.
Zac is an Investment Manager in Augusta’s diligence team and admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court.
Prior to joining Augusta Zac spent 10 years in both private practice (including at Dentons and Corrs) and in-house legal teams practicing in Dispute Resolution. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation as a Senior Associate including: breach of contract, shareholder disputes, professional negligence and trust disputes. Zac was seconded to large global firms during his time in private practice and also spent time working in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
He has a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies)/Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB).
