Virtual conference
3 – 5 August and 13 – 14 August 2020
Hosted by: Informa Connect

Augusta Ventures Investment Manager Simon Latham will present at the EU Competition Law Summer School in August. Traditionally an in-person event held in Cambridge, this year’s five-day conference will be fully digital, including live-streamed presentations, Q&As, interactive case studies, one-on-one networking, special evening activities and post-event downloadable resources.

Simon will join Marc Kuijper, Co-Head of Dentons’ EU Competition practice, for a session titled “Litigation Strategy: Coordinating Individual and Collective Claims Across Jurisdictions,” on Friday 14 August.

They will discuss several thought-provoking topics, including:

  • Key developments across the EU and at Member State Level;
  • Addressing multiple claims across jurisdictions;
  • Implications of collective litigation for exposure and strategy – review of UK CAT process and comparison with the mechanisms introduced in the Netherlands and Italy alongside long established models seen in US, Canada, Israel and Australia; and
  • Litigation funding considerations.

For more information about this event and to register, please visit the EU Competition Law Summer School website.
