Litigation’s premature gold rush: are opt-out representative actions the new norm?

Greg is an Investment Manager in the Commercial Litigation team with a particular focus on funding large-scale group litigation.
Greg’s role involves sourcing disputes, reviewing cases and undertaking commercial and financial structuring decisions to ensure the successful funding of matters.
Prior to joining Augusta, Greg was an associate in the Dispute Resolution department at Slaughter and May as a Solicitor Advocate. He had a multi-specialist practice, juggling complex and large-scale litigations, arbitrations and investigations each valued in the hundreds of millions to billions of pounds. He had experience working on matters involving competition, tort, contract and public law, as well as handling allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption, for a variety of clients including oil and gas companies, financial institutions and various branches of the UK government. He is adept at spotting salient issues quickly, working on international and domestic matters, navigating through complex situations and structuring innovative solutions.
Greg holds an HBA in International Relations from the University of Toronto and a MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He completed his legal training and qualifications at BPP University College.
