Large crowd of business people standing underneath the skeleton of a dinosaur at the Australia National museum for a corporate business even hosted by Augusta ventures Back to News

Augusta was delighted to host its annual Autumn Drinks and welcome guests to the spectacular Wild Planet room of the Australian Museum in Sydney.

Around 120 local and interstate prominent lawyers, barristers and insolvency practitioners enjoyed drinks, canapés and great conversation whilst surrounded by nature’s wildlife exhibits.

During a brief speech, CEO Mira Brennan welcomed guests and shared the history and growth of Augusta now in its second year in Australia, with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Mira also articulated our vision for growth, Augusta’s strong capital backing of $230m and target to commit c$50m to new cases in Australia this year.

Managing Director, Neill Brennan, emphasised the quality and entrepreneurial nature of Australian law firms and practitioners as exceeding expectations. He described how Augusta has built a large team of highly experienced professionals to provide excellent service to law firms and that Augusta’s model is to work collaboratively with a hands-off approach.

We would like to thank everyone for sharing the evening with us and we look forward to a successful and fruitful year ahead for all.
