Augusta Ventures proudly sponsors The Ontario Bar Association’s upcoming class action program and webinar, “Remedies in Class Actions: Aggregate Damages.”

Aggregate damages are damages that can be measured on a class-wide basis, bringing the efficiencies of a class action into the remedies portion of a claim.

Led by Program Chair Sarah Whitmore, Torys LLP (Toronto), Program Speakers: Rachel Ryman, Deloitte LLP (Toronto), Sabrina Lombardi, McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP (London) and Jonathan Chen, Lenczner Slaght LLP (Toronto) will discuss the evolving jurisprudence around when and how aggregate damages may be awarded in class actions. While the program focuses on Ontario, the content should appeal to class action litigators throughout Canada and abroad.

Emilie Maxwell and Kristen King, Investment Managers at Augusta Ventures Toronto, will both be in attendance.

Find out more about the event and/or register on the Canadian Bar Association’s website.
